Emeric Rabot, born in France, studied contemporary dance at P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studio). Since 2016, Emeric has collaborated with choreographers in Belgium and Switzerland, such as Fabrice Mazliah, Thierry Smits, Andrea Boll, Tabea Martin, and Susanne Schneider to name a few.
Currently, he is about to finish his MA in Dance Science at Bern University, where he researches the impact of breathing on physical and mental well-being while dancing.
He is the founder of Danse Sans Frontières, a platform that advocates for Dance for Health and Cross-Continent dance exchange. He is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) to foster more social initiatives with Parkinson’s, MS, and refugee integration. Emeric strongly believes in the healing power of dance and is deeply committed to using dance as a tool for social change to overcome cultural and linguistic barriers and foster bonds of friendship and understanding.

He is currently part of three Swiss dance for health projects. Bewegnungsraum Kulturen, a Zurich-based association that he cofounded with the Swiss choreographer Jenna Hendry and other team members, offering weekly intergenerational dance sessions at the Bundesasylzentrum Zürich for the last three years. Tanzclub Seniorstars is a collaboration between Bern University and Bühne Bern focusing on the dance population over 60 years old. Simultaneously, he also got involved in the training program of the project Connect involving the Opernhaus Zurich, Tonhalle, The Field and Dance & Creative Wellness Foundation. This last project which got recently the attention of the NZZ Zurich journal and aims to support people with neurological challenges such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s diseases through dance training.

Emeric's teaching focuses on creating inclusive spaces where anyone can explore and express themselves through movement language in Swiss institutions in Zurich, Basel and Bern and also in international projects in Cuba (2018) and Mozambique (2022) with both professional dancers and actors.
